ABOUT US
DIVERSE – HONEST – SUSTAINABLE
Urbanroots opened in 2010 and has become a trusted, respected and thriving part of Ballyhackamore, Belfast. However, the salon's reputation has spread much further, with regular and long-standing clients coming from all over Belfast and beyond.
Urbanroots, offers a client centered service ensuring that clients leave delighted with, not just their hair but also with the experience that they have had. Every opportunity is made to ensure that our clients leave the salon with a radiant smile and incredible hair.
We pride ourselves on the excellent customer service provided. Urbanroots has earned consistent 5* reviews across all social media platforms with many customers commented on the attentive, professional and personalised service we provide.

This year Phorest Salon Software awarded us with their 5* Client Experience Award for the 6th year running. Urbanroots was very proud to be finalists for ‘Salon of the Year’ in both the Eastside and Ulster Tatler Awards in 2019.
Our commitment to clients, exceeding their expectations and offering the ultimate client experience helps us exceed and stand out from other salons.
Throughout the years and due to a rise in client base, we became very conscious of wastage and product usage.

From 2017, we have been evolving Urbanroots in a more eco-friendly direction, hoping to achieve our goal in corporate social sustainability by 2020.
The salon is fitted with energy saving appliances and lighting, reclaimed wood and sustainable recycled materials. We are partners with Green Salon Collective, SSE Airtricity, Davines and L’Oreal Professionnel, all of whom have sustainable at the core of their business.
The majority of our products are made of natural ingredients using biodegradable packaging.
Urbanroots wants to promote a healthy planet as well as healthy hair, and this is now our priority focus.
